Clean Stream Northland

Clean Stream Northland is a joint venture between CBEC and Te Runanga O Te Rarawa.

Clean Stream Northland (CSN) operates 10 refuse transfer stations in the Far North for the Far North District Council. For refuse station operating hours please click here.

CSN works in partnership with the Far North District Council and Far North communities to achieve our target of

zero waste to landfill.

We do this by:

• Providing quality cost effective waste reduction services

• Educating our communities on how we can reduce waste to landfill

You can help us fight waste by:

• Reducing - buying less packaging

• Reusing - take used products to and buy from charity or second hand stores

• Recycling - Sort rubbish and recycle through the kerbside collections or at one of the refuse transfer/recycling stations

• Compost - Compost all organic matter (yard trimmings and kitchen scraps)
