Healthy Homes Tai Tokerau

Healthy Homes Tai Tokerau is a joint venture partnership between two long established Northland charitable community enterprises -

He Iwi Kotahi Tatou Trust from Moerewa and the Community Business & Environment Centre (CBEC) from Kaitaia.

The partnership was established in early 2008 and to date we have retrofitted over 4,000 Northland homes with insulation measures.

100% Kiwi Made Polyester Insulation

Our products are guaranteed safe for you and your family. Most people wear polyester everyday to help keep us warm.

There are no glues used in making the polyester whereas some other forms of insulations are bonded with glues.

For total assurance and peace of mind, our insulation carries a 50 year performance guarantee even in harsh environmental conditions,

as long as the insulation was installed correctly, and remains adequately protected.

Do you qualify for FREE insulation?

Healhy Homes Tai Tokerau is able to insulate around 800 privately owned low income homes per annum thanks to

generous third party funding from local organisations.

EECA Subsidies

Healthy Homes Tai Tokerau is also able to provide insulation subsidies to other residential properties of between 33% to 60%

for qualifying houses (excluding the free retrofits mentioned earlier).

Healthy Homes Tai Tokerau is an EECA approved provider under the government's EECA Energywise Programme.
