Far North Pools are operated by Community Business and Environment Centre (CBEC).

All pools are managed according to the National Pool Safe standard and hold Pool Safe accreditation. The accreditation requires high-quality filtration systems ensuring pool cleanliness is kept to an optimum. It also requires fully-qualified lifeguards to be poolside. Lifeguards are an important safety feature, but they are not intended to replace the close supervision of parents or caregivers. Please note the Pool Alone Policy regarding supervision of children.

The pools are open to bookings for Northland schools for education programmes and host several local and district-wide swimming carnivals. They are also available for private functions at the management’s discretion.
